What do you like best about Hebbia?

The most helpful thing about Hebbia is the ability to drill down through multiple document layers efficiently.

What do you dislike about Hebbia?

The least helpful thing about Hebbia is that, given the niche aspect of our industry, it is difficult for the AI to understand our searches and prompts.

What problems is Hebbia solving and how is that benefiting you?

I perform intensive research and analysis of multiple filings and materials - Hebbia allows me to look through everything all at once and even find some sections I may have missed.

There are several files, mostly historical files, that I have not been able to review individually - Hebbia allows me to find when and where "something" was mentioned.

Hebbia allows me to explore additional ways of looking at data and documents.

Most importantly, Hebbia saves me a lot of time.

What do you like best about Hebbia?

Hebbia can save you time in pulling key asset information from OMs; I use it to extract things like address, size, amenities/specs, and market statistics. I use this regularly during early stages of underwriting to share quick summaries of key facts on an asset, freeing up more time to spend on defining assumptions and modeling.

It is also very useful in converting tables from PDF documents to usable excel schedules, especially for cash flow statements and rent rolls.

For portfolio management, the budding Matrix feature can be used to put together regular summaries of operating performance, financial reporting, and leasing updates.

What do you dislike about Hebbia?

One thing to be mindful of when using Hebbia; if you are planning to give it an OM and ask questions like what are pertinent risks to consider, it will most likely come up with very few risks as the OM omits those and provides only bullish sell-side information.

When using Matrix, if the format is identical across time for a regular document, the function will work but variations in form can cause the wrong data to be pulled. Be mindful when auditing the information and writing the prompts.

What problems is Hebbia solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is solving the problem of wasting time on data entry that can be easily extracted from available documents, allowing more time to focus on underwriting.

It also provides typical AI chatbot features including learning about relevant demand drivers in a market/asset class, and rewriting raw text.

Hebbia search is often more efficient at extracting tables from PDF documents to excel data.

What do you like best about Hebbia?

Hebbia is extremely useful and saves hours of work every week, especially working in the financial sector. Having access to all earnings calls and public filings makes it very easy to conduct extensive market research, conduct due diligence on public companies, provide insight into key company and industry drivers, trends, performance and more. The ability to upload personal documents is very useful for summarizing and analyzing documents (escpecially lengthy legal documents), provide second opinions, and shift through dozens of documents at once. The matrix feature is extremely useful for repetitive work flows with the ability to create a standard template to use. Hebbia is also pretty flexible anad has a good degree of offerings which is very positive, including things like the ability to switch AI models in matrix, offering chatdocs, matrix and regular chatgpt all in one platform etc. Additionally the Hebbia team has been extremely responsive and helpful. They are always very accessible, respond promptly, are very friendly and professional, and its obvious they have a very strong belief in their product which is encouraging as a user. Lastly, the fact that Hebbia offers all of this via one user friendly website makes it very easy to use on a daily basis.

What do you dislike about Hebbia?

My biggest gripe is probably the UI for uploading and mangaging files is not the easiest/straightforward to use, especially when dealing with a large number of files and folders. I would love the ability for Hebbia to export answers and matrix templates to word on top of excel, and the ability to archive certain questions and responses right in the tool itself. Lastly, sometimes the answers are not fully aligned with the question, for example I have asked a question similar to "please describe the top ten areas of diligence on a private company working in XYZ sector, focusing only on industry and operational topics", and then it would return saying to diligence the company's financials.

What problems is Hebbia solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hebbia mainly saves me an incredible amount of time at work. Hebbia and its various functions (matrix, chat docs etc) are able to analyze documents of all kinds (public filings, earnings transcripts, legal documents, documents i upload etc) and find the relevant information extremely quickly, saving me hours of work having to read and sort through the documents, conduct research etc. This allows me to dramatically cut down my time spent doing "busy work" and focus on the more important and essential parts of my job. The answers and insights it provides allows me to conduct much more research over a much broader environment and overall dramatically shortens work flows.

What do you like best about Hebbia?

Its intuitive interface allows me to quickly shift through large volumes of data/information and extract the key information I need. One of the standout features for me has been Hebbia's cognitive search capabilities with references. It understands the context of my queries, which means I spend less time searching and more time analyzing the insights. The intorduction of the Matrix functionality is incredibly useful, and allows to build customized templates to apply Hebbia's capabilities across different sets of information and show the results side by side. Overall, Hebbia has definitely augmented my workflow and I now use it almost every day.

What do you dislike about Hebbia?

The key issue relates to integration of databases, as we currently are unable to connect Hebbia to Sharepoint and therefore have to upload folders on an individual basis, rather than having access to all of our internal files (altohugh I understand this is a work in progress).

What problems is Hebbia solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Hebbia is helping me with time sensitive research for due diligence

- It is solving the issue of searching for accurate information in large datarooms/documents

- It helps with manual tasks of comparing different aspects of similar documents across different investments

- Overall it helps me prioritise and work thorugh information in a more efficient manner

- It acts as a sounding board when looking a new sectors/types of companies

What do you like best about Hebbia?

The ability to cite sources is critical for our purposes -- that's something that is severly lacking in open source LLMs. Without this feature, I'm not sure we'd be able to use Hebbia. I also like the ability to select the documents that you want to review, rather than the model scraping the entire upload base.

Customer service is strong as well, team is always very responsive and open to input.

What do you dislike about Hebbia?

The things I dislike about Hebbia are all items that (I believe) are in the process of being developed. At present, uploading individual documents to Hebbia is cumbersome but once Sharepoint integration is rolled out to the entire user base, that will be a significant barrier to increased usage removed.

I'd also like the ability to customise outputs with greater autonomy. Salesforce, for example, is a great platform as it has both wide-ranging functionality but also allows any enterprise users to customise their individual platform as it is malleable. I get the sense Hebbia could run on the same model.

What problems is Hebbia solving and how is that benefiting you?

Efficient and accurate data and information sourcing can be difficult when done manually on thousands of megabytes of data. It is both a waste of time, and can lead to inaccuracies, to sift through tens of thousands of pages for one specific piece of information that Hebbia can often source in seconds.

Hebbia now is able to save me time and provide me with more useful information than manual data room and document scrapes and has the cited sources to back the information up, meaning I can audit and ultimately rely on the output.
