What do you like best about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

ive been using codewhisperer now amazon Q, in windows and Mac for quite a while now mainly for assisting with command line completions in all my termials and IDEs ( in case of windows as no commandline support its only for macOS) . it has history retention and can also share the learning accross devices from what i experianced.

Integration with other IDEs is also great , ive integrated with VScode and some of the jetbrains IDE as i wanted to try something other than github copilot and works just perfect.

Ive mainly been using it when i work in python or typescript and the suggestions are very precise unlike other AI coding assistants.

Its just perfect for genrating inline documentation for your codebase ive been using it almost everyday.

the setup is very simple and there is almost no learning curve. just keep in mind not to rely on it all the time as it still gives buggy codes.

What do you dislike about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

as its still in free trail im not so sure about the pricing but it may be a concern.

and i really hope AWS releases codewhisperer for command line on windows soon.

What problems is Amazon CodeWhisperer solving and how is that benefiting you?

it optimised productivity a lot. no almost no need to write documentation , ive been relying on codewhisperer for genrating documention for my APIs , routing , react codebase and python scripts.

also it is very usefull when creating dummy data or something like that which wouldnt require supervision. code completion is a benifit but still not relying on that as much.

What do you like best about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

The best part of Amazon CodeWhisperer is it's ability to give real time time suggestions while coding. Also easy to use and implement, by using it regurarly it significantly enhance the coding skills. Also assitance provided play a crucial role in improving the efficiency of my code and logic buillding.

What do you dislike about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

The least helpful part of Amazon CodeWhisperer is it lacks in providing multiple language support which stops variety of developers coming towards the platform.

Also costing issue is also a concern, other platforms like "GitHub Copilot" provides much lower cost in comaprable to Amazon CodeWhisperer.

What problems is Amazon CodeWhisperer solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problems that Amazon CodeWhisperer is solving that it generates entire functions and logical code blocks without having to search for multiple websites for solutions and suggestions. Also when it provides automatic suggestions and recommendations based on Code and Comments in my IDE, makes my efficiency and my logic building more strongrer .Also now I can know at which part I am doing mistake which is more helpful.

What do you like best about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

I like it's explanation of the code that it provides. I like how it explains each steps of it's solution and how clean it's solutions are.

What do you dislike about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

It's quite good actually. But there are some improvements like sometimes it does not get the prompt clearly and gives its own answer which does not fit. So there are some room for improvements in this.

What problems is Amazon CodeWhisperer solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sometimes I need to generate a page structure for a my web application so I just prompt to it and it gives me exactly what I wanted. Sometimes I think of a logic and ask to it and it gives me insights and several possible outcomes and some edge cases for my solution.

What do you like best about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

Amazon code wishperer can be used in a project which shows the ai inside a feature it generate the prompt related t input given by the user and produce the accurate output

What do you dislike about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

as the feature can be inherit into another software which is not unique because many more ai generated data learning projects are in line up to intoduced in the IT

What problems is Amazon CodeWhisperer solving and how is that benefiting you?

As AI code generation Amazon code wishperer helps in my projects and many mre code genration where i was learning a new technology and i was slow just because of some syntax error so amazon code wishperer helps me in correcting and generating a set of code using a prompt given by me and very accurate and helpful

What do you like best about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

We can generate code through prompt or we can use the api of code wishperer in our application to generate a code and get the output with the api call and transfer it to user of the application

What do you dislike about Amazon CodeWhisperer?

Some times due to the less accuracy we get the wrong output from the code wishperer which leds to the mis information and later deal with the wrong application development

What problems is Amazon CodeWhisperer solving and how is that benefiting you?

As code wishperer generate the code through the prompt which helps the application to get develop easily and also I have created an application which dynamically changes its feature and use the implimentation of code wishperer using the api call .
